INTRODUCTION TO UFE STUDENT UNION NGO
The UFE Student Union is an NGO that frequently collaborates with UFE and ensures students' shared interests, takes into account their initiative, maintains independence from any political party or other outsiders while serving its members, and is non-profit in nature.
History of Student Union
The UFE Student Organization was first founded as a Student Council in 1997 and began organizing the Student Assembly in 1998. The Student Union of the University of Finance and Economics was established on March 1, 2019, and on August 21, 2019, it became an officially recognized independent NGO.
The Student Union NGO at the University of Finance and Economics was established with the purpose of assisting in keeping UFE student activities the most effective, expressing views and voices of students based on democratic values, involving student rights in university activities, making a contribution to achieve the university’s mission and vision, developing responsible, conscious and virtuous students with respect to individual right and freedom, and defending personal rights and freedom.
- For the academic years of 2007-2010, second year student Unur S was selected as Head of the Student Union, and during this period, he initiated the Monitoring Committee/ Council, and made numerous changes such as updating the rules of the Student Union.
- For the academic years of 2010-2012, third-year student of the Business Management Program Munkh-Orgil Ts, successfully held the position of the Head of the Student Union for two consecutive years.
- For the academic year of 2012-2013, fourth-year student of the Finance and Management Program Javkhlan D worked as a Head of the Student Union.
- For the academic year of 2013-2014, fourth-year student of the Business Management Program Sosorburam B, successfully held the position of the Head of the Student Union.
- For the academic year of 2014-2015, fourth-year student of the Finance and Management Program Sodbileg M worked as a Head of the Student Union.
- For the academic year of 2015-2016, fourth-year student of the Finance and Management Program Purevjargal E worked as a Head of the Student Union.
- For the academic year of 2016-2017, fourth-year student of the Finance and Management Program Munkhjargal B worked as a Head of the Student Union.
- For the academic year of 2017-2018, fourth-year student of the Finance and Management Program Tamir M, worked as a Head of the Student Union.
- For the academic year of 2018-2019, fourth-year student of the Business Management Program Nomin-Erdene Ts worked as a Head of the Student Union.
- For the academic year of 2019-2021, third-year student of the Business Management Program Batzorig B updated the rules of the Student Union and worked as Head of the Student Union and broadened it to an officially recognized independent NGO.
- For the academic year of 2021-2022, fourth-year student of the PSIAF Yanjinlkham T worked as a Head of the Student Union NGO.
- For the academic year of 2022-2023, third-year student of the Finance and Management Program Sodmandakh T worked as a Head of the Student Union NGO.
Purpose and values of the Student Union
- The mission of the Student Union is “To support our students to become citizens who manage to discover themselves and contribute to the enlightenment of society”.
- The vision of the Student Union is “To establish itself as a leading, regionally recognized, developed student organization”.
- The motto of the Student Union is “Let’s develop upon cooperation, and Let’s extend upon development”.

Main areas of its activities
- To develop a policy to protect students’ interest
- To conduct research related to the student
- To ensure the development of branch organizations, to support their cooperation and activities, and hold cultural, sports, arts and social campaigns through their branch organizations.
- To provide students with all necessary information related to their interests and development. For example, Student Union, UFE and partnership organizations, and laws, regulations and decisions issued in Mongolia.
- To consistently develop its potential.

Introduction of Student Union NGO of UFE
The Student union expresses the common aspirations of the students of UFE: to serves its members, is based on their initiatives, is independent from any political party and other outsiders. Moreover, the union is a non profit, non governmental organization, and has constant relations and cooperation with the UFE.
History
Historical development: The Student Union of UFE was established in 1997 as a Student Council and has been organized as a regular student assembly since 1998.
It became an updated student union of UFE on 1st of March, 2019, expanded as an independent, registered NGO from 21st of August, 2019.
The Student Union NGO at the University of Finance and Economics was established with the purpose of assisting in keeping UFE student activities effectively, expressing views and voices of students based on democratic values, involving student rights in university activities, making a contribution to achieve the university’s mission and vision, developing responsible, conscious and virtuous students with respect and defending individual right and freedom.
- For the academic years of 2007-2010, sophomore Unur. S was selected as Head of the Student Union, and during this period, he initiated the Monitoring Committee/ Council, and made numerous changes such as updating the rules of the Student Union.
- For the academic years of 2010-2012, a junior of the Business Management Department Munkh-Orgil. Ts, successfully held the position of the Head of the Student Union for two consecutive years.
