On October 31, 2022, representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organization /WIPO/, the implementing agency of the Mongolian government, and the Department of Intellectual Property, made an official visit to our school.

During the visit, during the 63rd General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization held in Geneva, Switzerland, in July 2022, the Chairman of the Intellectual Property Organization G. Elbegsaikhan, the Director General of WIPO Daren Tan, the Rector of the Institute of Social Sciences B. Monkhbayar, discussed about the works to be carried out within the framework of the memorandum of understanding established by director E. Sonintogos.

The meeting was attended by Dr. David Simmons, WIPO's Asia Pacific Regional and National Development Advisor, Barbara Pik, International Consulting Expert, D. Amgalan, Head of the Administration Department of MOOG, G. Telman, Senior Specialist of Foreign Relations and Cooperation, Information, G. Tsatsral, specialist in charge of promotion and training, vice-rector in charge of advanced research and training of UFE G. Bathuyag, responsible for Platform partnership

Representatives of vice-rector D. Ankhtuya, vice-rector for undergraduate training and research B. Monkhzaya, S. Tuvshinzaya, manager of academic publications and libraries, B. Itgam, marketing manager, R. Bolor-Oyu, specialist in cooperation and partnership, attended and discussed the following main issues exchanged thoughts. It includes:

• Implementation of master's programs, including:
• Bringing the understanding of intellectual property to the general public and empowering intellectual property experts
• Conduct short-term training
• Training teachers to implement the program, providing system materials supporting the program, etc.
